Shantou Haoda Tire Test Equipment Co., Ltd. (Haoda) was established in 2004, located in Shantou city, which is in the eastern coastal city of Guangdong Province. Haoda is a family business, Chairman Haozhao Chen (father) devoted himself to tire testing machine for more than 30 years (1978-2011), and general manager Xun Chen (son) graduated from rubber and plastics engineering of South China University, bachelor of engineering, is a member of Tires and Rims Standardization Technical Committee of China (SAC/TC19); a member of China Metrology Association Chemical Control Branch Rubber Technical Design Committee; a member of China Chemical Industry Rubber Test Equipment Standardization Technical Committee; Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Provincial Rubber Machinery Standardization Technical Committee.

Haoda actively participates in China|‘|s national standards, industry standard revision and drafting, as well as Chinese tire rim valve standard yearbook of the audit work. So far, Haoda participate in the drafting and amendments for eleven national standards and one industry standard. These standards which have been promulgated and implemented as follow: GB/T4502-2009 Laboratory test methods for passenger car tyres capabilities, GB / T 4501-2008 Laboratory test methods for truck and bus tyres capabilities, GB / T 22038-2008 Method of automobile tyre static contact pressure distribution, GB/T 23663-2009 Test method of automobile tyre longitudinal and lateral stiffness, GB / T 26277-2010 Test method for measuring electrical resistance of tyres.
Besides, JJF 1194-2008 Calibration Specification of Tester for Tyre Strength and Bead Unseating Resistance and JJF 1195-2008 Calibration Specification of Drum Tester for Tyre Endurance and High Speed Test which were drafted by Haoda jointly with Beijing Research & Design Institute of Rubber Industry were taken as the technical specifications of tire testing machine calibration, and they won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
Haoda is a technology-oriented enterprise; the technical design staff is 40% of all employees. Haoda has independent intellectual property rights in various fields of testing machine, which include basic research and development, manufacturing process and automation integration. Especially in the field of tire testing, Haoda has a number of national patents.
